Hi pintukr, can you please explain the part A of the question on how you read the zygote phase to be 7 days from the graph?

The whole zygote phase measures 56 days. ( Right side graph shows 56 days scale). On that scale, 5th box is cellular reorganization. If you approximately measure the vertical height of that box, it comes out to be 7 days.
So, (cellular reorganization/ Zygote)= (7/56)*100= 12%

Hi varad98, Thanks for your response. I think you might be assuming each dash to be one (1) day representative of 58 days when you said approximately measure the height of box. However, if you closely observe the "Blastula" phase in the right side graph shows only 10 days but the dashes are not directly proportional. If i count them approximately there are 20 dashes representing 10 days.

So, i'm unsure on the logic followed here!

Now, you have pointed out the scale, I got confused. But, If you try to approximate total number of dashes on y-axis, they are around 56.
Still, I need help to understand the positioning of 10 on that scale.

I might sound funny but i manually counted the dashes and they are clearly way more than 56 😂

Official Explanation

The answer to the first question is B. The zygote phase lasts about 56 days, and about 7 of those days are devoted to cellular reorganization; 7 is 12.5% of 56.

The answer to the second question is C. The first trimester is about 84 days and the second is about 112 days; 112 is about 133% of 84.

Sajjad1994 how did you count 7 days? I think you might be assuming each dash to be one (1) day representative of 56 days when you said approximately measure the height of box. However, if you closely observe the "Blastula" phase in the right side graph shows only 10 days but the dashes are not directly proportional. If i count them approximately there are 20 dashes representing 10 days. And from 10 to 56 there are less than double the dashes

The entries 10 and 56 have not been entered correctly. But the entry against the start of Cellular reorganization is at around 21st dash and continues for 7-8 dashes.

You may not get the exact values but the options are so far off that you should guess 12 to be the answer without hesitation. Of course the presentation of data could have been better.

You need to count, but not until 56. Until 10 is enough. In fact, you can check that a tick doesnt mean 1 day just by eyeballing
