Let previous year students = x

Current year = 1.15 * x = 920

Before rushing in calculation, let's analyze quickly

IN RHS, 920 is multiple of 8.

In LHS, 1.15 is not multiple of 8

So x must be multiple by 4.

Eliminate choices A ,C,D and E

Only one choice left

We can let previous year’s enrollment = n and create the equation:

1.15n = 920

n = 800
