The figure shows that \(OA\) is parallel to \(CB\), and the arc length \(AB\) is \(8 cm\), and \(∠AOB\) is \(40^o\). What is the arc length of \(BC\)?

Join OC to get a \(\triangle OBC\)....
\(\angle{OBC}\) will be 40...alternate angles OAllBC
\(\angle{OBC}=\)\(\angle{OCB}=40\), so \(\angle{BOC}=180-40-40=100\) .
Since 40 makes an arc of 8...100 will make an arc of \(8*\frac{100}{40}=20\)
