Hi Sajjad1994
Can you please explain why answer to question 1 is Positive?
My reason - For species A I can see that First when Light intensity increases, Leaf area increase but In between I can also see that when Light intensity increases, Leaf area decreases. Therefore, there is no correlation.

Official Explanation

Drawing curves that best fit the data show that for species A there is a clear trend towards greater light intensity producing greater leaf area hence we have a positive correlation between the two parameters.

The difference between the two cures is greatest at 2.5 units of light intensity. If we extrapolate the curves it looks as though there would be an even bigger difference at 6 units, but we cannot be sure where the cures will go at levels above 5 as no data is provided. It is possible, for example, that curve A will plateau at 5.

Answer: Positive and 2.5

My reason - For species A I can see that First when Light intensity increases, Leaf area increase but In between I can also see that when Light intensity increases, Leaf area decreases. Therefore, there is no correlation.

To check the correlation, we can choose the points, which are in the Majority (Those that behave in a similar fashion). In the case of A, there are only a few points that don't show the correlation. IMO, we can safely call them outliers and ignore them to draw the best-fit curve.
