Equal sides and equal angles means REGULAR hexagon.
If the biggest diagonal is 24 half will be 12 and will meet at the centre of hexagon.
Thus formed is equilateral triangle of side is 12..
So the lateral face has sides 12 and 2, so area is 12*2=24
