The iterative method for calculating the times from mean to true syzygy (i.e., conjunction and opposition of the Moon and Sun), proposed by John of Saxony in 1330, is the only medieval method where exact Alfonsine times are yielded and which is robust to the required time correction.

A) where exact Alfonsine times are yielded and which is
B) where exact Alfonsine times are yielded and that is
C) that yields exact Alfonsine times and it is
D) that yields exact Alfonsine times while also being
E) that yields exact Alfonsine times and is

Issues with the original sentence: Where
>Where can only be used to refer to actual geographical locations. Here, it is used to refer "medieval method", which makes the sentence incorrect.

Scanning thru options, we find only Option E) corrects this issue and presents a parallel sentence.

Answer E)

Ans - E

AB can be eliminated directly as ‘where’ is used for location and cannot be used for medival period.

C - parallalism issue- and it is - should just be - and is

D- while being is awkward and makes no sense

E- best answer choice, maintains parallelism with ‘and is’ and doesn’t use ‘where’ for defining time period
