Question: \(volume=abc=?\)
(1) The surface area of one side is 4 --> clearly insufficient.
(2) The surface area of one side is 8 --> clearly insufficient.
(1)+(2) If \(a=1\), \(b=4\) (\(ab=4\)) and \(c=2\) (\(bc=8\)) then \(volume=abc=8\) but if \(a=2\), \(b=2\) (\(ab=4\)) and \(c=4\) (\(bc=8\)) then \(volume=abc=16\), two different answers, hence not sufficient.
Answer: E.

Nice explanation Bunuel... But, I would like to clarify one query on this one in particular. In question it is never mentioned that a, b and c are integers. Hence, can't we uprightly select E in all the cases as there can be many fractions which might satisfy these criteria.
