The Mach Test, developed by psychologists to determine the degree to which an individual is psychologically manipulative, produces results which indicate manipulative behavior is unrelated to a person’s education, intelligence, or political opinions. Such seemingly correlation-free results, in which neither intelligence nor education plays a predictable role, are rare in psychological research. For example, recent experiments show that some children learn their parents’ attitude toward other people, which indirectly affects children’s behavior, while other children copy their parents’ behavior without appreciating their parents’ underlying attitudes.

All of the statements below follow logically from the passage above EXCEPT
A) Behavior is often related to experience
I suppose 'learning from parents' counts as experience. And children learn/copy from their parents, so this sentence follows.
B) Children differ in their ability to understand their behavior
Some children learn from their parents' attitude while others copy their parents' behavior. Hence children differ in their ability to understand their OWN behavior.
C) Intelligence does not correlate with the degree of manipulative behavior exhibited by individuals.
Stated in the passage itself.
D) Some manipulative children have parents who are manipulative.
Since children copy/learn their parents' behavior/attitude, it follows that manipulative children may have manipulative parents.
E) Adults understand their own manipulative behavior.
1. Passage says nothing about the behavior of adults.
2. Passage only talks about how children learn their behavior. How manipulative behavior is developed in an adult is not discussed.
So Correct answer.
