"Such as" is used to indicate examples. "like" is used to indicate similarity.

narrow it down to C and E because "market" is singular, and it has to use "remains"

C is correct because what nganle08 said.

C should be it.

OA is given is E. Its a one of set questions.

I also chose C. But, after seeing the OA, my support to it is that since the sentence mentions "market for recycled commodity" and "aluminium and other metals" may not represent recycled commodity. Thus, E makes more sense.

Quite a subtlety.

Al and other metals by themselves are not recycled commodities.

Chose C, but can see why E makes sense.

I do not see any convincing reason for E as OA.
I stil remain with C.

like is used for comparing nouns. In E, the market is compared with commodities of aluminium which is wrong. I also vote for C
