We will have to distribute the sauces in two parts
1) With basil
Total -200
Given that 50 tons contained basil but not garlic.
2) Without basil
Total 340-200=140
Given that 110 tons of these contained garlic, remaining 30 did not.
Total - 50+30=80 tons

You can also make a 2*2 matrix for this

Total....................340
We are looking for non garlic, so 50+d.
d=140-110=30
50+d=50+30=80

200 Ton sauce with basil
110 Ton sauce contained garlic
50 Ton sauce contained basil but not garlic

So total sauce without garlic is 80 Ton
