The preliminary evidence suggests that nutrients, vitamin C and some minerals, are included with better quality in crops that are grown organically compared to crops that are grown conventionally.

A. crops that are grown organically compared to crops that are grown conventionally
B. crops that are grown organically than for crops that are grown conventionally
C. organically growing crops as compared to in conventionally growing crops
D. organically growing crops than crops that are grown conventionally
E. organically growing crops than in conventionally growing crops

We need a preposition "in" with the second part of the sentence i.e. "in Y crops" not just for parallelism but for conveying the meaning properly.

Only C and E have "in" after comparison markers "as compared to" and "than"

E is much better structured - better quality in X than in Y

Answer - E

Comparing C and E

IMO, 'as compared to' in C is not as good a comparison as in E. I would go with (E).
