why is option B correct. The metal produced per kg of ore increased. the ore processing also got more expensive. Since we dont know by what percentage both the factors increased, how can we say that the revenue couldnt have increased?

Let D stand for demand and P for price. Then, revenue can be expressed as D*P.

If demand is inversely proportional to price, then D = K/P for some constant K, meaning that D*P = K.

As there was no change to the demand function itself, this holds true, meaning that revenue is constant at K.
