Imo option C “The number of patents created is accelerating as technology advances” is the most concise and grammatically correct choice. It avoids redundancy by not using “constantly” and “accelerating” together (since “accelerating” already implies a constant increase), and it also removes the redundant “forward” after “advances,” because “advances” inherently means to move forward.

The way I eliminated some options:
- [A] and [D] are incorrect since "advances forward" is unnecessarily wordy dan redundant.
- [E] changes the meaning: not the patent itself but the rate of patent created.
- [C] also changes the meaning: the number VS the rate.
