"Because" is used to present reasoning; for example

I went to see a doctor because I was not feeling well

I was not feeling well that's why I went to see a doctor. In other words, the reason I went to see a doc is that I was not feeling well.

Either use "Reason" or use "because". However, sentence made with "Reason" word seems to be wordy. As "Reason" is not underlined, it has to be the part of the correct sentence in this case. We are left with one choice after eliminating all the choices containing "because"
So correct answer is E.
