Removing the non-essential modifier, we end up with the following sentence:

1)"The reason for low possibility" doesn't make sense.. It should be "The reason for the low possibility"
2) Even if we wanted to say "The low possibility", the sentence would read -> The reason for the possibility OF PRODUCING
3)"Is as much as nature having" is just awful and should make it an immediate elimination

But even if it were parallel, the idiom "Not so much that .... as that" should be used to establish the contrast/meaning the sentence clearly intends.

Modifier error. The portion in the parenthetical should follow immediately after what it modifies: spider silk.
