The third side of the triangle x should more than the difference of the other two sides and less than the sum of the other two sides.

$$11-7.5 < x < 11+7.5$$

$$3.5 < x < 18.5$$

The Least possible value of x is 4.

Sum of two small sides has to be greater than 3rd side , so 7.5+x>11 solve for x we get x=3.5 , least value would be 4 option D
