Percentage of light reflected from the surface = 80%
Absorbed by the cloud =40%
Not absorbed by the cloud = (100-40)%=60%
Percent of the light that strikes the planet is reflected from the surface and passes through the clouds without being absorbed =80%*60%*100=80/100*60/100*100=48%
