MartyMurray KarishmaB chetan2u , Can you please tell me why number of college graduates who failed to achieve 5 years of positive returns = 7*20=140 ? I thought it would be (500 - 200 ) = 300 as 200 are the number of people who were able to achieve 5 years of positive return. Please let me know what I am missing here.

(1) No. of student outside circle "NO COLLEGE" is considered "COLLEGE GRADUATES"
means total =13
 (2) But, as there is total of  6 $'s (inside  5 yrs positive return circle) and 7 $'s outside both circle
 we have to exclude those 6 nos of $'2 inside return circle
to get total of 7 nos $'s
So:= 7*20 (as 1$ = 20 )
140

Hope it helps
