I think this is a beautiful question!
However, I tend to have an affinity towards using/plugging numbers to derive an answer instead of algebra.

Can someone please help me with an example of the same?
Thanks in advance!

A shortcut method which applies just to questions of this pattern.

Quantity of milk poured: (Volume of vessel 1 * Volume of vessel 2) / (Volume of vessel 1 + Volume of vessel 2)

Here,

Q= 220*180/220+180
= 99

Cheers!
