Thank you guys for your replies! I'm thinking whether to retake the GMAT as I know it wasn't my best shot.

Maybe take a couple of days to think over it. If you feel your Verbal fundamentals are solid, consider working on your solving approach. May boost your score a bit. Had a 6-hour student who went from a V31 to a V40 in about 30 days so this sort of learning doesn't necessarily have to take very long. Perhaps work with a study buddy who has ace Verbal skills. There's a study buddy thread on gmatclub you can sign up to.

Hi. Congrats! 710 is a solid score, just 20 points below the highest average GMAT in Top 20.
You can try the WAMC tool in my signature to see if getting a higher score would help you improve your chances - there are more components...

It also looks like you get a Q50 and all of your improvement will likely need to happen in Verbal. That's often tougher to do and sometimes can take time. I would probably plan to not spend more than 1 month on the retake (so you don't burn yourself out with another 3 months of prep and then forget what you have learned back in Dec).
