It is really good that your strength is Verbal.
Regarding quant my experience says that you need to positive, confident, and alert while doing it.
Since your concepts are good you can surely bag a good score.

Hi alon1818,

The process of taking a FULL-LENGTH CAT and properly reviewing it requires a significant amount of energy and effort. Taking more than 1 CAT per week is generally NOT a good idea, so you should probably NOT take that last CAT (since you're so close to your Official Test Date). In these last couple of days, you should stick to light review and not do anything too strenuous (no cramming, no CATs). You'll be better served by getting some extra rest and going into Test Day with a calm mentality and a readiness to work hard for 4 hours.

Hey everyone, thanks for your replies!
rich: what you say does make sense. I felt taking the last GMATPrep CAT two days before the exam would get me into the right mood for the actual test. I am used to studying until close before exams (not cramming, though). GMAT is definitely different, so it might be a better idea to review some topics.
What's your tip for making the best out of verbal?

Hi alon1818,

If you're consistently scoring in the V40s, then you're already at the 90th+ percentile in that section, so extra reps in the Verbal are probably not necessary - and since you don't have any obvious 'weak spots', you'd have to spend too much time trying to find the little things that you're not great at. A little bit of extra Quant review though, especially in the big categories (Algebra, DS) would likely be worthwhile though.

How did it go? If you have not yet taken the test, keep the following things in mind on the test day:

1. Do not think about the final score at any point of time
2. Once done with a section forget about it and concentrate on the next one.
3. Take both the breaks. It helps you to freshen up
4. Take a note of the time when you are out for break. Do not exceed the break
5. Do not rush through the last 5 questions in the verbal sections in a bid to see your final score.
6. Complete all the questions in a section. There is a high penalty for not completing the test.

All the best!

Same question: how did it go? Your GMATPrep score, and the verbal score in particular, looked good.
