Can someone explain why the arrow head from Julia to Sonya is wrong in the 3rd question

It is given that all members of that group have to submit their responses to the group coordinator. Neither Julia nor Sonya are coordinators for their group

Could someone please explain to me why in Q. 2, B is not correct as well? Maybe I missed something but I got both A and B as correct
Terminating without an arrow would mean a line without an arrow at the node, so this is one sided communication without a response. In the red group you see that Helen has only one such line, whereas Sonya has 2.

Can someone please explain to me Q3?
The only thing that is mentioned in the tabs is why group members and the coordinators are communicating with each other. However, the reason for group members writing mails to each other nor the group members writing mails to coordinators of different groups is not explained.

For Q1, I was unsure on the number of members for the avian club. My thinking was given Kevin wasn't emailed he didn't qualify as a member - why would he be a member but not have received any communications? 'Any members' of the club were to receive these communications after all. Thanks!

That's a fair point, but in the Emails tab, it does say that "all club members are shown" and "any two people whose nodes are the same color are in the same club". So even though Kevin wasn't emailed, that could be Lee not properly following directions (which in this problem, we've seen other members struggling to do so).

Given that this is stated: "any two people whose nodes are the same color are in the same club", Kevin being a club member is indicated, whereas him not receiving communications probably points to Lee not following instructions.

Can anyone explain this answer choice: "is more centrally positioned among the nodes of the same color than is any of the other nodes of the same color" and why it's wrong? Thanks!

I took "more centrally positioned" to mean that they have the most connecting lines, which seems to be true for the three leaders (Lee, Paul, and Helen). But if it means, "in the center" of the graph, then this answer would be wrong.

I believe "centrally positioned" to mean the node to be placed centrally with respect to other nodes of the same club/group. Two clubs have their coordinator node placed in the central position but for the black group its on the left side where one could argue John looks more centrally positioned than Lee

Q1. For each of the three clubs, select Yes if the information provided indicates that the club has at least five members. Otherwise select No.
We can infer which color is which club from the names of the coordinators, so Black is "Avian", Blue is "Urban Bird Lovers", Red is "The Songbird Society". Now we simply need to count the number of nodes of each type and tell if the count is greater than 5 or not.

Q2. Each of these three nodes in the diagram that represent the coordinators

A. has more lines terminating with an arrowhead at the node than does any other node of the same color --> True we can directly see the co-ordinator nodes have more lines terminating on them.

B. has more lines terminating without an arrowhead at the node than does any other node of the same color --> Helen has one and Julia has one so they are equal. Eliminate

C. is more centrally positioned among the nodes of the same color than is any of the other nodes of the same color --> Lee is not centrally positioned. Eliminate

D. has a greater number of lines terminating, with or without an arrowhead, at the node than does any node other than these three, regardless of color --> David has 4 but Lee has 3. Eliminate

E. has a greater number of lines connecting the node to nodes of different colors than does any node other than these three --> Lee doesn't connect to different color . Eliminate

Q3. For each of the following arrows in the diagram, select Yes if, based on the information provided, a club member's following instructions would help explain why that arrow appears in the diagram. Otherwise select No.

A. The arrow from Ali's node to Helen's --> Informing preference

B. The arrow from Julia's node to Sonya's --> Not inferable

C. The arrow from Carl's node to Paul's --> Not inferable

You count the number of different colored circles as that represents the amount of people in each club. You can distinguish the individual clubs by looking at which coordinator belongs to which club.
