I guess I will join in:

1) Should have dumped the succubus earlier and not put as much effort into the military regiment. Those caused the only three sub 3.5 semesters I had in college...unfortunately those also were when I was taking some math classes colleges care about. Thank god that was done by sophomore year and I finished strong or I would be screwed.

2) Should have thought about this earler and had gotten involved in something impressive outside of work.

3) Didnt get my wrists tattooed (though they are wedding tattoos so I shouldn't say that). I just wish that they wouldn't peak out when I shake hands with someone. I personally don't care about this, but am slightly paraniod it will affect my chances at a school.

1. Apply 1-2 years earlier. I will matriculate at the ripe old age of 31, one of the biggest "weaknesses" in my application right now.

2. Start the whole R1 process earlier.

3. Re-learn Spanish again... will try to rectify this soon, I hope.

I've been lucky that my personality has always driven me to get good grades, participate in clubs/extracurriculars/volunteering work. So without having an MBA app in mind, I already had enough leadership/club/service things to talk about for my apps. I only wish I worked at a more dynamic company with more kick-butt leadership positions, but I don't regret what I've done in the past 6 years at work.

1. Forgot the girl's name at Vegas..

2. Crashed my motorcycle 2 days after buying it. Felt like the biggest idiot

3. Made out with my date's best friend....

Sighh..most of my regrets are somehow related with women..and motorcycles

And I wish I found this club sooner.. nothing has hampered my work more than posting messages...

I have to delay today's report for Monday.. now how to spend the next three hours..

Here are mine.

1 - Almost signed up to do English Lit after high school, then went to a top 10 engg school. It sounded like a great idea at that time, but in hindsight it sucks because I am NOW in the Male Indian IT pool :-(

2 - I wish I applied a couple of years earlier. I am too old.

Can think of others, but nothing to do with MBA.

3) Girls...yea, thats a whole another ball....you know we do stupid stuff and learn from it, like they say in Poland, "what doesnt kill you makes you stronger"

3. Made out with my date's best friend....

What's you regret there? Not asking your date to join in?

As long as her best friend wasn't a guy (unless thats your thing which is cool) I don't see how that is a terrible mistake. Just a common college event.

Pre Admit regrets

1. Get a better GPA

2. Not doing this 3 years ago. My career had gone nowhere for about 2 years.

The glory of long sleeves, helping to keep me looking professional.

I only have a few, they just happen to cover most of my arms haha.

1) Get involved in school. A 3.7 GPA and good work experience are good, but joining a club takes up, what, 2 hours a week and makes you that much more well-rounded.

2) Study abroad!

1. Start a business while at university.

2. Sponsor a kid from a village somewhere in Africa and visit him or her every once in a while. Use the visits to improve the community where the kid lives.

3. Keep a diary, or start a blog early, preferrably in high school :) -- will help you with your essays when you decide to apply to b-school.

You forgot (a) participate in the Olympics and (b) Climb Mt. Everest. :-)

Hmm...my regrets:
1. Should have had more direction during my first and second year at undergrad.
2. Haven't learnt a foreign language yet.
3. Can't think of anything else right now...

My three regrets:

1. Choose the right direction of your education (economy vs. smth else).

2. Join university's clubs, more exposure to university's social life.

3. Post graduate community life!!! Your life is not consulting or banking or anything else. You are not a machine, you are not the only one on this planet, you are "the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world". So make the best of your life - be involved!!! :)

4. Well, climb Mt. Everest (I hope to correct this regret before I start my MBA next autumn). Wonna join? The current death rate on that mountain - 1 dead for every 10 successful climbs :)
