Hi Chetan,

Thanks for the quick reply. I know that the answers are wrong. I got this question from a source and when i tried solving it i got the same answer as you. Just wanted to check whether everybody else also has the same approach. I have copied this problem as it is from the source.

Hi,

If the source gives you these answers and you find another Q with Flawed Q and answers, I would suggest just keep it a side ..
Stick to OG.. Nothing better

Hi asciijai,

You already seem to understand that this question isn't written in proper GMAT "style", so if you're actually studying for the GMAT you should stick to working with reputable practice resources. All of that having been said, in these types of rate questions, it often helps to think in terms of 'work units':

If it takes 1 person 25 days to complete a job, then that's 25 'work-days' of effort required. 1 person can complete 1 work-day, so if you have 15 people completing 25 TOTAL work-days of effort, then it would take...

25/15 = 5/3 days = 1 2/3 days to complete the job.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
