Hi Tony,
If you have your GMAT sorted, would strongly recommend you take advantage of November round. Paying a couple thousand dollars to save your seat is a real cheap insurance policy as compared to being shut out. Also, you will be able to get feedback on your application relatively early. (interview or not)
The January deadlines are packed together quite tightly for most of the top schools, and believe me, you will be happy to have a full dress rehearsal before all those deadlines start piling up. I have clients apply to schools that have spaced out deadlines as much as possible, if that is the first round we are working together - it's a timely process to interview them brainstorm and and build out their anecdotes.
One note of caution - submitting an application in a week is a dumb idea in general, but if you have things ready, or have a LOT of time this coming week, submitting earlier puts you at an advantage.
Cheers
Farrell

Hi Everyone,
Like most, I am planning on applying to about 5-7 schools in R2. Most of the R2 deadlines are early January. However, I noticed that Cornell is on a slightly different schedule. For Cornell round 2, the deadline is November 15, with an interview decision by January 10th and Decision by February 20th.
The decision is therefore much earlier than the other school's decisions by April. Ideally, I want to examine all of my options on the table at the same time. That being said, should I still apply in R2 for Cornell? Or wait till R3 so that it aligns with the admission decisions of the other schools I'm applying to?
Does anyone know when you have to put money down to save a seat?
