From city A to city B, he travelled at the rate of 160 km per hour, and from city A to city B, he travelled the distance that is twice of the distance he travelled from city B to city C. What is the average speed rate from city A to city C in total?

1) Tom travelled from city B to city C at the rate of 100 km per hour.
2) The total distance from city A to city C is 600 km.

for finding avg. speed we have to know
total distance / total time

given speed a-B= 160
distance A-B-= 2X (let)
distance B-C= X

1) avg. speed 3X/(2x/160 +x/100) = 400*3/9--------sufff
2) X+2X =600
X=200
But we have no info on speed he used to travel from B-C ----insuff
