I just took my first MGMAT CAT. Its a disaster. 550 (q-38 , v 28 ) . I tried the essay also.
Please let me know how to go forward. This was almost cold prep, except that I covered the basic grammars of SC but not much practice. CR no practice at all. RC no practice.
Quant - have not covered all the topics, know basic formulas, not much GMAT Type practice. Only solved non GMAT quants for few sections from a non GMAT book (RS Agarwal) just to brush up.
One thing, I got pretty tired. I was looking at the watch and the number of questions. This happened in Quant. I finished up almost 24-25 min to spare. It got worst in Verbal. I also experienced a system crash. So had to resume again. This was during the verbal part. Somehow was too tired to think and wanted to finish early.
Please help me!! Is a 730 realistic?

Hi Kaushik,
Any score is realistic. You just need to prepare enough for it. I faced the same situation with MGMAT exams. I read somewhere that there first two CATs are difficult than the rest. What matter is what you're scoring in GMATPrep CATs. They give you the realistic picture of where you stand. If you haven't taken that CAT, I'd suggest you to download the free software from the official website and give the first free exam. Analyse your score and make a study plan which suits your requirement.
MGMAT exams are still 2nd best to the actual GMAT. Their Quant is a bit difficult than the actual GMAT, however, their Verbal is THE best. At this moment, you should focus on your study plan and study material. Score will improve!

Thanks for the kind word. I am now too scared to try the Prep software. I cannot think of anything now. Will take some time rest. A 200 point increase is a huge task. God give me strength!!
