Hi Everyone,
I took an official GMAT exam and got a 380 - I actually was EXTREMELY shocked but not so socked at the same time. I am terrible at math and didn't really know the structure of the test. I literally started clicking away!
I'm planning on taking the exam again and getting a higher score (it's possible - def can't get worse) so- this is now on my score transcript - how does this affect my applications into schools? I know schools take the higher score, but do they frown on the "death" score?

I don't recall any of the schools I applied to (six of them) asking for all GMAT scores. I wouldn't worry about it.

schools get all the scores automatically even though you only report your highest score. however, as long as you can show that you've improved, then they shouldnt hold your lowest scores against you.
you mentioned that you didnt know the structure of the test. try to prepare a little better so you dont have to take it again after your 2nd time
