This is a welcome call to our 7-Days, 7-Lessons, 1-Objective Quant Prepathon! The sole objective of this Prepathon is to help you build the right skills to solve even the toughest Quant questions within 2 mins. To help you learn these skills, Starting tomorrow (5th April), we will be taking up one important lesson each day and help you build the skills required to master that lesson.
What is going to be covered in the Prepathon?
Over the last 10 yrs of interaction with students, we have identified the key pain points that stop you from scoring well on GMAT Quant. In this Prepathon, we will be taking up 7 most important aspects out of these and help you master them one-by-one. Here's the schedule of the Prepathon:
- Lesson 1 - Impact of Pre-Analysis in Saving Time
Lesson 2 - Considering all cases to Reduce Rework
Lesson 3 - Avoiding the Unforced Assumptions to stay on track
Lesson 4 - Steering clear of the DS traps to improve accuracy
Lesson 5 - Finding Smart Ways to solve questions quickly
Lesson 6 - Optimizing cases considered to reach to the answer faster
Lesson 7 - The right GMAT Quant Test Taking Strategy
Format of the Prepathon
Let me familiarize you with the format of the Prepathon.
Everyday, we will focus on 1 key skill needed to answer GMAT Quant questions under 2 mins. To help you build the skill we will do the following:
- Video Lesson – We will share a video lesson around 8pm IST/2:30 pm UTC explaining the skill in detail along with a sample question & solution to help you internalize the skill
- Practice Question 1 – After 40-50 mins, we will share the 1st Practice Question to help you apply the skill properly. Then after 15-20mins, we will share the Video Solution of the question
- Practice Question 2 – After 20-30 mins, we will share the 2nd Practice Question to solidify your understanding further. Then after 15-20 mins, we will share the Video solution of the 2nd question.
During the prepathon, we will be live on the platform. So, feel free to ask us any doubts that you’ve related to the application of the skills. We will be happy to take them up in the respective posts. The questions will be posted under relevant sub-forums but this post will act as a Mega-thread with links to all of our Prepathon Videos and Posts in one place.

- 1. Participation in Prepathon posts – We will reward points to students who solve the Practice Questions and share their answers & explanations in the comments. 1 points for correct answer and 1 additional point for explaining it well/keeping it in line with the lesson.
2. Performance in a Quiz – At the end of the Prepathon, we will test how well you’ve internalized the skills. You’ll get points on basis of your performance as well.
