I gave my GMAT on Nov 06, 2019 and scored a 650. I got a Q48 & V32. I used to score in the 580 range during my early mocks and was quiet disheartened due to the lack of not improving my scores despite enrolling myself into various GMAT online courses (The Economist, egmat, MGMAT Prep, ..etc).
That's when I found TTP QUANT ONLY course and I really liked their course structure and the study plan. I was disappointed with many course who have a "study plan" just for the sake of it which really does not give any direction to the student (except MGMAT). TTP's study plan makes sure you read a chapter followed by a lot of GMAT like questions to check you understanding of the concept you have just learnt. Following their method, I scored a Q48 for the first time in GMAT ever. I even gave a review of the course after taking my exam.
Even with a Q48 and 650, my verbal score was bad and there was something I was missing in all the various courses I had mentioned. Then I got an email from Scott saying TTP just launched their verbal module in beta mode and I was excited to give it a try. I am planning to retake my GMAT late in June so that I can get a better score to apply for the college I aim for.
10/10 Best Sentence Correction Module. While I am still going through the various chapters, I want to let the fellow club members whoa re in search for a verbal course how different is the SC module from TTP. You get topics for each chapter and TTP study plan has a Targeted Practice section where we are immediately tested on the concepts we learnt through various non-GMAT like single sentences where we check the correctness of a sentence. This definitely gives us a good practice to implement our learning even before attaching a SC question. Once we analyze the practice questions, we are given a couple of Concept Mastery questions where we try to answer 'easy' GMAT like SC question. After going through the solutions, we are presented with 'real' GMAT like SC questions where we try to answer the question on the topic we have just learnt. TTP has made this for each of the sub-topics of the various things that are tested in the GMAT SC. More or less you will see this approach in each page of a single chapter. So far this is the best SC learning type for me.
I haven't yet started with the critical reasoning module yet, but went through the Assumption question type chapter. The chapters explained in detail how to tackle the question type and the different ways in which the GMAT tests on that specific topic. I will keep you updated as and when I study more chapters.
As of today, they are yet to release the RC chapters and practice questions at the end of entire chapters like that of Quant but Scott/Jeff told me it will be added soon.
I got really excited to write this review on GMAT Club as TTP Quant gave me the boost I din't know I could achieve it. With this verbal course, I hope I can finally 'fight' that 'GMAT verbal DEMON'.
