Can someone pls explain q1? I’m really not convinced by the article that Pythagoras will agree with

The author says that Pythagoras thought of beauty as an objective (based on fact) principle, or one that is not affected by differing opinions. The author also says that Pythagoras believed beauty “maintains harmony, order, and balance,” which supports the notion that a person’s well-being will be supported by watching something beautiful (like a sunset or an act of kindness).

I still couldn't understand why (D) cannot be an answer. 
Because below is the support for (D):

This does not mean that the production of computer code is a mundane task: on the contrary, many regard good coding as a highly creative activity. As another example, take the field of humanoid robotics where the physical appearance of a robot, its gestures, or its tone of voice may have an impact on user acceptance, e.g., in health care.

Now questrion asks ''a likely result of computational creativity?'' and (D) seems pretty inline with the information contained in the passage.

­I think you did not read carefully and interpret the essence of the last paragraph.

Do not get me wrong or take it to heart: often students fail to get the big picture

This does not mean that the production of computer code is a mundane task: on the contrary, many regard good coding as a highly creative activity.


This sentence is there to explain you how a pure practical application of a computational task such as coding can be aesthetically beautiful. another example is math in its pure form such as complicated equations applied in the field of tensorial calculus.

However, that DOES NOT mean that the task per see is practical. 

The example of the robot is a clear example of a practical task: giving medicine to the patients.

But our goal is to have an example where, mainly. the computational activity and the tool related to it satisfy our AESTHETICS necessity. We need the form NOT the substance

Hi. I am still very confused that how is the explanation linked to option (C) chaos theory. I pick (A): "The goal of web design, for instance, is not to add to the functionality of an application but to make an application aesthetically pleasing and accessible to its users."

This sentence directly supports the idea that web pages should be both visually appealing ("aesthetically pleasing") and easy to use ("accessible to its users").
