1. The question asks us to analyze the graph and answer the following dropdowns.
2. We are given a set of points and have to find which point has the greatest sum of coordinates. One way to do this without any large calculations is visually. Let x + y equal some sum s. Then, \(x + y = s \rightarrow y = -x + s\). If we draw the line y = -x and shift it towards our point, that shift will be s, which we want to be as large as possible. It can easily be seen that Bag F would require the greatest shift.
3. Now, the greatest absolute difference between the coordinates, or |\(x - y\)|, needs to be found. Let's write down all of the coordinates and calculate the values:
This means that the largest absolute difference is about 68.
4. Our answer will be: D1 - Bag F and D2 - 68.
