Just submitted my application and didn't realize that there is nowhere to attach a CV in word format, or is there ?!

I pretty much covered all the basics on their pdf sheet, but missed out on some information that puts me in better light and was not able to fit "everything" in as their experience fields are rather limited...

Anybody else had this "problem"?

There is no place to attach your CV. Insead doesn't require a CV, the job profile pages and your two job essays are meant to serve the purpose of a CV. I've heard some people submit their CV's in hardcopy alongwith their transcripts. I didnt send one though.

It looks like someone is having a little bit of trouble with the spreadsheet. I just wanted to let them know that when you filter results by a field, say application round, google docs saves that view for everyone. So the records are not being deleted, just being filtered out in that particular view. If you want to see all the records click on Data in the File menu and click 'turn off filter'. Hope this helps.

chukibu - you already got your acceptance from INSEAD? that's great - congrats! you applied in R1 i assume. could you tell us a bit about your profile and when did you finish your interviews? also did they call you - if so when? too many questions - i know :)

Hi Umbra

I applied in R1 for the September 2011 intake, finished my interviews around October 2010, got waitlisted, and finally got the call on march 2011. I requested and was granted a deferral for the January 2012 intake, and now I am waiting for my fellow classmates to get accepted. Right now there are 22 people in the January 2012 on MBAConnect.

I am 28, male, Israeli, Mech. Eng., 6 years WE in heavy and environmental industry.

GMAT - 700
GPA - 3.0

All you guys who are still waiting for your interviewer details - don't forget that INSEAD are looking for interviewers with a more or less similar background (same industry etc...) - that can take some time, especially if the candidate has a very unique WE.

I also heard about that a lot prior to my interviews, but in practice it turned out that my interviewers had quite different profiles from mine. I worked with finance for 6 years - auditing, operational finance consulting, and now mostly budgeting and management reporting in manufacturing company. But my first interviewer was a marketing director in high-tech company, and my second interviewer was a venture capital investor. It was quite surprising for me when I received their details from my coordinator :) But still I have quite positive impressions on both of my interviews.

And Chukibu, congrats with getting in! :) hope to join you soon.

Thanks! Good luck!

FWIW I'm 99% sure these are all deferrals from previous rounds of admissions (e.g. 12J admissions).

The 22 you mention have been there for at least a month now (noticed the "12D" label while searching MBAConnect a while back), so these don't represent NEW admits. The count now is 23, so we might have our first true 12D admit, or another deferral.

Give the adcom a few days to update MBAConnect once admits start rolling in...they don't add new accounts to the system immediately...took me a week or so to show up...

there is one american female on the spreadsheet who says she was accepted r1...
unless she was a waitlist/accept/defer from r1 of the september intake...
almost 5% of the class being deferrals seems a lot though

I think there should be more people already admitted, but probably not in the system yet.
I read this post from INSEAD twitter today:

Quote:
had a great time tonight in #NYC meeting our new #INSEAD #MBA 12Js. What an impressive bunch! ^KK

I also saw similar posts in their twitter after their information sessions in Tokyo, Sydney and Amsterdam. Probably the AdCom made the decision earlier for them, in order to welcome new students in person.

Anyway, next week everything will be clear :)

Class of 12J (July) refers to the students of September 2011 intake, who will graduate in July 2012. We are the "prospective" class of 12D (December). So the new admits adcom is referring to on their twitter accounts are not for our intake :) .

Oops, sorry, my mistake. I thought that J stands for "January", not "July" :)
