Oh that stinks man I'm only at 3yeats post undergrad but have two years pre but not sure how they'll look at it. I've had two promos with my company now and manage a900m global product offering so keeping faith.

I only have a bit over 2 years right now--which means 3 years at matriculation. But my experience is quite unique, especially from the traditional b-school applicants, so I'm hopeful that this will carry me through!

Anyone else interview Thur/Fri of last week? I was Fri morning but my status still is not complete... wondering if others have same scenario. I know it says it can take up to two weeks... but strange some got response already.

From what I understand a lot of it is dependent on when your interviewer submits the interview report and I think they have up to two weeks. Some submit right after and so your status goes to complete and some might be busy with work or other things and might take a week or more to write up the report and submit to the adcom. My guess would be that your interviewer is just taking more time to submit hence your status not being complete yet.

Had mine on Saturday and have not gone complete. The form is supposed to be submitted within 3 days of the interview. Pretty sure about this, but not sure about calendar days vs business days. I've seen on last years thread some taking alot longer though. I'd like to think our interviewers are taking care to make sure it's as good as a recommendation. Once complete, I think it can stretch on for a while before adcom makes a final decision (while reviewing other candidates???). I hope not though so if I don't get in, I can focus on my other apps.

Actually the website says "within 2 weeks", but I heard it is 3 days...

Also, I just got an email saying my status has changed, but when I log in it still says invited to interview. What? Was expecting complete.

Yea, I'm just wanting status to go "complete" so that I can finally anticipate a decision. If a ding, can schedule my Tuck interview for early September and get that ball rolling.

My interview was on Friday...my status has not changed yet. I remember my interviewer saying he had up to 2 weeks to send his report but that he would try to send it within a few days because he knows admissions is on a rolling basis. Does anybody know if they are required to answer anything else besides what they are required to ask on the interview? Do they actually have to say if they recommend an applicant or not? I am not sure how admissions considers these interviews since each applicant is interviewed by a different interviewer and that can definintely hurt/benefit applicants.

I had my interview today. I nailed all of the answers, but I was a bit nervous and I think it showed.

Anyways, interviewer told me the statistics last year were 27% of applicants received an invitation and 15% of all were accepted. She mentioned that CBS asks interviewers to complete the feedback form within 2 days from the interview.

No hint as to whether she was going to recommend me or not, I really think it could go either way. Interview lasted 1 hour and the questions she asked were:

- Walk me through your resume
- Why Columbia?
- What are your goals?
- Why an MBA now?
- Backup plan
- Leadership example
- Teamwork example
- What's my leadership style and provide an example?
- How will I contribute to Columbia?
- Time I faced adversity example
- Provide adjectives that your supervisor would use to describe you
- Weakness question
- Ethical dilemma example
- What other schools are you applying to?
- Is there anything you want me to emphasize on my write up? (I said my maturity as I am a few years younger than CBS' WE mean)
- Questions for her

Lots and lots of small talk in between and many follow up questions with all of my examples.

Congrats MDF!!! Seems like your interview was pretty intense but if you think you nailed it she will recommend you!! My interview was last Friday and my status has not changed yet! Hopefully it will happen soon!

Mine went complete yesterday. Completely distracted at work and I really can't seem to concentrate on other apps. I was trying to figure out the mean days from complete to decision but I can't tell if the date used in the 2011 tread is for the call or email.

So all accepted applicants get calls and those that are rejected get emails? Even if you are not in the US? I think that most people get a response within a week...especially now that the flow is not at the peak...people have to wait longer when they apply near the deadline because admissions is reviewing a lot of applications at once.

I wonder if it's just the system or something on their end? Lots of us had interviews this week or Friday of last week and still not complete. I can't imagine all our interviewers simply just forgot or haven't submitted given that MDF mentioned the 2 days after interview recommendation. My guess, we'll all go complete at the same time lol.

I think they will call the number on your app and leave a message to call back if they don't reach you. Then a couple days later status changes online. If you are dinged you just get an email saying the status has changed.

I got the status changed email yesterday (prior to interview complete), but when I logged in there was no update. I got a second one later yesterday and then went complete. There must have been a glitch.

Now that i'm complete, every time I get an email I feel sick to my stomach.

Thats horrible!!! So you are basically praying for your phone to ring and going crazy each time you get an email!! So if you get a "status change"email and have not received a phone call from admissions you know you got rejected...thats rough! Kinda glad my interview has not gone complete yet hahaha

Is this the first status change for you since the interview?

Maybe the interviewer just now submitted their feedback, and now it goes to the review for the final decision...
