went complete last Monday, Nov 28th. does anyone know what's the percentage they convert deferred students @ CBS? 1%? 2%?

No, it's much more than that (I would say 20% -25%). Actually the deferal isn't such a bad thing, it just means they want to compare you to a bigger pool of applicants. If you keep standing out they will accept you. Keep faith!

Just got my first "unknown" caller since going complete. Of course, it wasn't CBS. Still, interesting shaking-reaction.

I had a similar experience last week when I got a call from an unknown NY-area phone number. "Hello, is this jwl?" "yes..." !!!!! "It's Minetta Tavern, calling to confirm your upcoming reservation..." "..."

I was on a long flight today, and when I arrived I had a voicemail from an unknown number (the first since I went "complete") and... my dear old aunt calling for the holidays. Then I checked my email, and deferred until February I went complete on 11/28

I'm seeing lots of people who went complete in the November timeframe who have heard something (whether it be deferred, interview invite, etc.) What does it mean if I went complete in mid-October and haven't heard anything? Is that a good or bad sign, or neither (e.g. they just didn't get to it yet)?
