my interview is on 8th (telephonic - after waiver)....would like to speak with a few current students/alums....any kellogg folks around?

Since you have a telephonic interview scheduled, you will eventually speak with a current student/adcom I am neither a current student nor an alum, but I can try to answer your questions if you like.

I am a re-applicant this year and had previously applied in 2009. I remember at least 2 folks getting in even though their interview was waived completely. Don't worry! Waiver or not, you will have an equal chance. I asked my interviewer this year and she said: "Interview reports are usually consulted if the adcom don't get a clear picture of the candidate from the other application components. It does not have a fixed weightage". Interview is also a part of the entire application, that's all. Just relax and make sure you know your resume really well.

I'm in a similar situation. I'm a waitlisted applicant from last year. Submitted R1 this year. I received feedback though. Ad Com was concerned about my fit and wanted me to address it in my update letter. Not sure if there's a reapplicant thread. Haven't seen it!

Not sure if there is a re-applicant thread. Btw, did you get a feedback on request? I had applied in R1 in 2009 and got a reject. Keeping my hopes alive this year with a better GMAT score and a better profile

What is everyone's app saying? Mine just says "Submitted" for both Parts 1 and 2. Also, although I am a Rd 1 applicant, I realized I haven't sent them my official GMAT score!!! I did scan my report on my application. Now I don't know what to do!

Firstly, you should quickly send an additional score report to Kellogg. Hope you know how that is done. Next, you can request the adcom to issue a "conditional" offer based on the unofficial documents. I know a couple of other universities doing that. Send an email to them right away.

@SR85 A quick question: is it required to send them an official copy of GMAT for admission evaluation? I remember official GMAT is only required after they offer the admission. Thanks,

Kellogg doesn't require an "official" score report sent from GMAC for application. If you are admitted, they will have you send the official score report at a later time.
