However, I looked back at this same thread from last year (BU Applicants 2011) and it seemed like all those who replied as having been accepted, were accepted right on the deadline (it was February 11 last year). There were no acceptances reported before the deadline last year. This fact makes me hopeful that they do indeed hold all decisions, good and bad, until very close to the deadline.

Thanks for looking into that! I will say that when I visited and interviewed, the staff implied some decisions could be sent out earlier this week. We shall see!
Round 1 they started notifying a full week prior to decision deadline so it isn't out of the question they release early this time around. This is my first decision, so kind of sweating it! Good luck all!
