A lot going around on the online status - I'll just say this. Checked mine a little over a week ago (R3 applicant) and it said Incomplete. I called the admissions office immediately and they said that wasn't the case, everything was fine and they'd make the amendment. Took a few days but it now says Under Review. Short story long, adcom seems to be jammed with applications, wouldn't rely solely on the online status, but definitely reach out with any issues.

Yeah, getting behind in R1 seems to have pushed everything back. Maybe that business week ranking, and the NYC tech campus gave the school a bit too much press, and they've had a huge spike in apps? That coupled with the new paperless process threw everything back. At least they're giving everyone the time they deserve for review, and aren't rushing to be finished by a deadline. Good luck all, the wait is worth it.

Are you checking your online app status? It might be worth mailing thme or calling them to ask for a decision. Someone in BTG was interviewed on 23rd & was told will hear in 48 hrs & then got waitlisted on 25th. He is an int'l applicant. Was notified thru online app status.

I emailed and left a message, still no response. Status says Submitted,

Application Status changed today to:

"Complete - Your application is complete for final review by the selection committee. We will post your final decision or send an update by 9 a.m. Eastern time on the published notification date for your round."

Did y'all who got accepted had your status changed to this as well?

I think earlier in the process someone was reporting 30%, who knows. Either way, it seems like they're building a pretty great class, and they'll give everyone a fair shot.

I don't think any domestic rd3 applicants has received an invite, so far. I saw couple international invites sent out during last couple of weeks.

Congrats. Are you going to pick a 1 year MBA over a 2 year MBA?

R2 admit here - I received the official welcome package in the mail a few days after the phone call with the acceptance offer.

For scholarships, you will receive an e-mail notification as well. (I'm not sure if they do the same for fellowships).

And my application status on the Cornell website didn't update until well after a week of the decision.
So fear not, have faith, and keep yourself preoccupied to get your mind off the waiting!

I did mine yesterday and was extremely nervous so did not shine :( But really, just relax because there will be no "surprises". Just go through the questions posted on clearadmit. Best of luck !

Interview is just one part of the application process, so don't stress or try to rehearse. Its going to be conversational. I don't think I did my interview great as I got couple of unexpected questions such as - why is your gpa low?, What have you done to prove us that you will not have difficulty with coursework at Cornell, and i don't think I answered those very well - but I still got admitted.
