My GF did send in a career follow up email, focusing on changes in responsibilities and assignments. But if you do send in such things, make sure to mention substantial and meaningful changes that address points in your application that you feel might be weak.
Since a few people got off the wait list last Friday - is it fair to assume that the first review of the WLers is over and the next movement would happen only after R2 admits confirm their deposits
