congrats to those got invites! just wondering when and how will the R1 waitlist be issued? On the D day ? and then what happen next- will they interview together with R2 invitee or they will re-consider whether to invite you in R2?

Has anybody received a ding? Or does Stanford only issue the dings and waitlist on the decision day in December?

Why can't they issue the dings earlier so that people know if they should move on or keep waiting!?

there's no guarantee you'll be interviewed in round 2 if you're waitlisted.

My friend form my office in Poland got an invitation last year on the 2nd of november.... However this is not optimistic :)

Similar situation here... still waiting on GSB. I got HBS on first day, and was freaking out about Wharton but got it a couple days before the end of the window. So, I'm trying to be calm about GSB. I don't think timing matters whatsoever. And I've heard GSB is notoriously slow

Exact same situation! Got HBS on Oct 9th and didn't hear from Wharton until November 5th. Nothing from GSB. I wonder what the significance is of saying the "majority" of interviews will be issued by the 19th..probably to manage our expectations between the 19th and the 26th.

Yesterday was a mini-wave for Stanford - 4 interview invites here and 2 more
