I checked on the 2016 thread, it seems as if invites came in waves from about now to mid feb, and then trickling out towards the end of February. What I wonder, is do the invites that come out on a day all come at one time? Or can we expect them to roll throughout a single day? It does seem that everyone invited today got an invite at the same time.

I believe they're done in waves.. chunks at a time, if that helps.

So looking at submission dates for invited applicants, seems like Darden have used FIFO!!

looks like folks with invites submitted their apps pretty early in the game. I submitted on deadline so I guess the waiting game is not yet over for me...

I submitted my application on 1/5, and I got an interview invitation today at 12:17 pm CST.

To be honest, although I submitted my application on 01/05, I almost lost my hope I feel I have to adapt myself to the worst scenario...

I don't think that when we submitted is a factor. The best thing we can do is take the school at face value when they say "As you know, decisions for Round 2 will be released on 25 March at 12:00 p.m. (ET). Invitations to interview will begin to go out in late January and are sent on a rolling basis; candidates can receive an invitation to interview up until the decision release date. Please note that if you are invited for an interview, the day on which you receive an invitation does not reflect our interest in you as a candidate." So nothing to worry about (yet).
