I talked about this a couple weeks ago, as it is my major problem with US News' rankings. A quarter of the score is basically "How prestigious do you think this school is?" It might be nice for getting a "Wow!" from someone reading your resume, but that's not something I find all that valuable.

Admitted with a full Consortium fellowship. Over the moon right now. The more I learned about Tepper, the more I fell in love with the culture. I even tried to change my ratings 1-2 weeks after I submitted my application to move them up. I would have placed them #1 in terms of fit after visiting other programs and interviewing with 4 of 5 programs. For the record, my initial rankings were: 1 - Anderson - ??? 2 - Tuck - ??? 3 - Yale - Ding 4 - Tepper (In with a full Consortium fellowship) 5 - Kelley (In with a full Kelley School of Business Hispanic Student Merit Fellowship) So, I hope that relieves at least some anxiety over how you ranked programs. Same here. In at NYU as well. On a side note, got a call from an unknown number and voicemail while I was in the midle of a presentation. Had to sit through 2 more hours of meeting and the suspense was killing me Finally get to check my voicemail, who could it be? Michigan? NYU? UNC?!...... Automated voice: "Reminder that you have a dentist apointment Friday march 12th" DANG IT!!!
