UrbanPrep and amj643 , thanks for those ideas. All three of my recommenders also attended B School, so I'm leaning toward getting them something with a little school pride. I considered wine, and the food stuffs hadn't even crossed my mind, very creative. Just got the confirmation call from NYU. She was not able to tell me anything about the fellowship however. Said all of that information and scholarship information would be in the acceptance packet that they are sending in the mail.

Does anyone know the exact day we will be receiving notification from the Consortium on our membership decision?

Sadly, no. The Consortium only notified applicants that they'd tell us something by "mid-march." Since the draft was yesterday, the end of this week or next week seems to be a likely notification period.

Congrats - Was NYU your first choice?

I think she said the packet was already in the mail or getting sent this week. NYU was my second choice, still waiting to hear back from Michigan (My #1 choice). I'm guessing if NYU didnt tell me about the fellowship now, then I probably didn't get one from them. 3 more schools to go though.
