Hello Everyone,
Greetings for the day.
This is the 1st time i am posting on this site and i am extremely happy to be a part of this forum.
A brief profile of myself-
I am a 22 Year old Indian Male.
Education- Bachelor of Commerce from University of Mumbai. 84%- I do not know the GPA but close to 3.5 ( I think)
I have also Completed CPT and IPCC form the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. (As i have not completed the course i am not sure i should put this on my resume).
Work Experience- 1 year and 1 month full time as an Assistant senior tax consultant at a reputed mid-sized Chartered Accountant Firm and 4 months as a Junior Manager at a reputed oil company.
Also in a couple of months i will be starting an online Fashion store with a few friends.
Extra Curricular Activities- I am black belt form Ace Academy of Self defence. I have also flown to London with my Dad to learn Russian Martial Arts. We have also organized free seminars in Schools and colleges wherein we have trained more than 800 women in self defence.
I have also done modelling for an online website. I also have a keen interest in Acting and drama. ( MY family is in Bollywood, so it is in my blood). Also i am a Passionate Swimmer.
Social Service- I am Associated with a couple of Charity related to children welfare and Women Empowerment. But nothing too major.
I am Looking to apply to London Business school Masters in Management Program. However, as i will be giving my Gmat in April, It will not be possible for me to apply before April 15th. I sent an Email to London Business School Admission Committee, and they said that candidates can apply anytime before May 2015. But i am really skeptical about my chances of being accepted, given the number of seats available will be comparatively fewer. Can Someone please tell me about my chances of getting accepted for the program if i apply in April 2015. Also would you'll recommend me to skip this year and Apply in October for Class of 2017. LBS MIM is the only program i am interested in and i do not wish to apply else wear. Any help will be appreciated. Thank You.

The admission process at LBS - in my opinion at least - is not the one size fits it all type, so there is no way knowing what kind of profile they will like. I think applying late is not necessarily risky or bad, in addition, having a gap year without any appearant reason may worsen your chances next year (and also there is a maximum 1 year experience in traditional bussiness role rule). I would suggest to reach out to the student ambassadors, by now they probably know the whole class, and may have more information about the likehood of admittance of ppl with similar profile to yours in the penultimate/last rounds of application.
