Hi Urv27!

I have to agree with ahokasm. I think LBS even has (or had I am not sure) a 600 limit, so I would not risk getting an automatic rejection because of that and not being able to resubmit my application this year (this is also policy that you can only submit 1 application a year).

If AdCom likes your application, they will do so in March as well! :)

Kind regards, Eniko

Hi!
I have a query regarding the time of sending the application.
My profile-
21 years(female)
-Bachelor of Commerce
Undergrad. expected score 81% (University of Delhi,India)
-An internship at a CSR consultancy and an NGO focusing on Child Rights
-Won many Business Plan competitions
- Trained in the basics of Spanish
- GMAT 590 (Q43,V26)
-Head of National Service Scheme in college

I feel that my GMAT is way too low for admission into Mim.
However, I am good at Quantitative skills which is reflected through my college and school academic results.

I want to re-take the GMAT, but that won't be possible before March. Also, I feel that March will be TOO late to submit the application. However, if I submit my application now, I am afraid that my GMAT score may not make me a successful applicant.

Please suggest a way that can solve my GMAT and submission of application problem simultaneously.

Hi Rahil!

I hope my answer is not too late. I think you should explain your carreer aspirations after LBS, what industry you would like to work in, explain why your choice makes sense in the light of your academic, professional, and personal achievements. I think this is just rephrasing the question, I hope this helps.

BTW, would you mind sharing your profile? :)

Eniko

(just to avoid confusion, I talk about this essay question :) - In what company and role will you be working in after completing your Masters in Management and how will your academic, professional, and personal achievements allow you to succeed in this position? What challenges do you foresee in pursuing this goal? )

Hey

Is anyone applying in the upcoming rounds?
Currently preparing my answers to the essay questions.
Please share some information on the first question?
Should we describe our work ex and background along with what we will experience at LBS MIM or should we just mention the experience prior to lbs in answering the question.
A bit confused
Please Help!!

Thanks

Do anyone know how the scholarship elections work? I asked about this in the interview but did not really understand the criterias... Really need to get funding... Also do you guys have any ideas for which scholarships EU (Fin) students could apply if going to LBS? Could not find many :(

Rahil,

I do not know if they have sent out interview invitations. Just wondering if anyone who submitted their application on or after December 31 has received an interview call.

Hi guys,

I am an applicant from South East Asia currently based in the United States. I submitted my application on December 27th last year in order to meet the January 6th deadline. I did not receive any interview call, but I received an email on January 16th from the Admissions Committee, saying that I have been shortlisted for an Admissions Interview.

To be honest I was very shocked because my GMAT is way way way lower than average. I am so thrilled and humbled to be given such opportunity to do an interview :-D

If you guys have any updates, please keep each other updated!

Hi!
I want to know what questions are asked to the Referees when the AdCom contacts them and in how much time do they have to respond.
I just got a letter or recommendation written by my professors, and I thought that was enough.

Please share :)

Hi everyone,

I applied in R2 and got shortlisted for an interview last Friday. I will take the interview in Canada most probably and I am wondering what the interview is like.
I have a few questions for those of you who already had their interviews:
1) How long after the interview email did you guys receive your interview details?
2) Is there anything I should be aware of as to the interview itself? Any tips? :)

Thanks a lot! I'm very excited about all of this. And congrats to those of you who secured admission!!

Hello everyone

I'm an applicant from India and I have received an interview call from LBS for this program.
I just wanted to hear about the interview experiences that applicants have had till now. Also, what the interview call to final convert ratio is like, in case anyone has a rough idea.
Best of luck to all :)

Hey gg174!

Congrats! Unfortunately, I have no idea about the interview call to final convert ratio :( My interview took place on campus, the interviewer and I went through my application, there were some leadership/teamwork related questions and we discussed my future career plans. I think if you know what you wrote in your essays, you will be ok! :)

Keep us posted!

Hi guys,

Not sure how to say this, but I am very ecstatic to share with you all that I am officially admitted into the program. I received the email this morning when I woke up and I literally jumped out of my bed!

Timeline:
~ Application submission: 27 December 2014
~ Interview invitation: 16 January 2015
~ Interview: 30 January 2015 in New York, NY
~ Acceptance: 12 February 2015

So that was a total of 47 days from from submission to admittance.

To those who have been accepted, I am looking forward to seeing all of you in London this September. Very excited to be studying with you guys.
To those who are still waiting for their decisions, brace yourselves! Your decisions are coming out very soon :-D

Thank you for helping !
I've been in a muddle ever since I got the call. Also, I was reading in the 2013 MiM forum that Ms. Lisa Mortini, the LBS MiM admissions committee member who's going to take my interview, is pretty hard to please.
I'm really hoping that's not too true :P
Does anyone have an idea ?
