Hey fellow classmates just admitted, hope you are all out celebrating!!

A couple of questions for people from R1 that have gone through this already. Just wondering if anybody could shed some light on what happens next?
How does the fact verification work? Do we need to provide telephone numbers? 
When do we need to pay the deposit?

Congratulations to all the new admits! Can't wait to meet you in the fall! I've tried to answer some of your questions below:

There are lotteries for the various on campus housing options. None have occurred yet, so no one has put down their deposit (unless you choose to live off-campus, which isn't common in the first year).

I had to complete a few forms for financial aid, and they included quite a lot of information -- far too much to list. Unfortunately, you will have to hold tight until you receive more information tomorrow!

I can't tell you the exact day you will need to pay the deposit by, but it will likely be some time in april shortly after admit weekend. The verification process happens automatically once you pay your deposit and authorize them to go ahead with the verification check.

Recalling from my memory, I think DB said that the welcome weekend is April 25/26 when he called.
