Yeah, It is really tough to judge anything about what's going.
Also, the second deadline is here this next week.

Aren't they planning to pool up the application and then invite on that basis. Literally no idea here.
Will try to get some news from ad com and update here.

I got an interview invite as well. However, I am a foreign student, and in all the dates mentioned, the interview venue is the SDM program office. Does anyone know whether there is an option of a video interview?

Hi Guys,

Do you have any more information about the placement data from MIT-SDM? I see from their websites, that many companies come, but a lot of them are start-ups. Also, looks like many of those companies just pick 1 person. I didn't see companies such as Google, Intel, and Cisco.

Is this program mainly targeted for folks with industrial engineering background, meaning companies like Boeing, GE, and so on, or is also suited for more emerging fields, such as AI/ML, and other emerging fields in CS/EE?

I am applying for R-2 before March-1. Any ideas/tips are welcome.
