Let's say the number of marbles is X.
If the number of marbles becomes full after adding 100 marbles to 1/2 of the full capacity.
The equation becomes :
X= 100 + 1/2X
Therefore, X=200
B.

Let \(x\) be the number of marbles and let \(C\) be the capacity of the bowl.
We know that \((x-\frac{1}{4}x)=\frac{3}{4}x=\frac{1}{2}C\), so \(C=\frac{6}{4}x=\frac{3}{2}x\).
We also know that \(x+100=C\), so \(x+100=\frac{3}{2}x\).
\(100=\frac{1}{2}x\)
\(x=200\)
Answer: B
