Given the question we can come with the following equations:
"Gene is 7 years older than Roberta" Equation: \(G = 7+R\)
"6 years ago, Gene was twice as old as Roberta" Equation: \(G-6 = 2*(R-6)\) and then \(G = 2R-12+6 = 2R-6\)
Then \(7+R = 2R - 6 \)=> \(R=13\)
Option B is the answer
