Need a profile evaluation.
I am an Indian student. Pursuing my Bsc Psychology (Hons) course in Christ (Deemed to be University). My GPA is 3.45
I have completed 2 internships in HR. First one was in Titan a leading lifestyle company in India. Here I was able to actively contribute in the Employee Wellness and Employee Experience team. My work clearly demonstrated the need, prompting leadership to create a dedicated psychology position. The second internship was done in Kennametal, an MNC.
I am a peer educator and a peer mentor. I have done the Millenium Fellowship Project. Am an Graphic Design intern in CICF- Christ Incubation and Consultancy Foundation. I have been a part of the IIIC (Industry Institute Interaction Cell). I have also volunteered in NGOs for over 30 hours.
I have been the head for the Peer Education Valedictory 2025, also headed an event called “Case Closed” for a department level fest.
I also am the co-fouder of a licensed Home baking business, where I manage the marketing, packaging and customer communications.
I have attended a workshop in Neuromarketing and Neuroeconomics and completed a 5 week Graphic Design Workshop. I will also be publishing a research paper and completing a 3 month internship in marketing by the time I apply for MiMs.
Aiming for a 330 GRE score
which schools can I aim for? are schools like HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, LBS and ESADE out of reach for me?

* Prior studies: 4 semesters of Industrial Engineering (Mechanical Engineering focus) before switching to Social Sciences
* 2-month internship in a state parliament office (public policy / political affairs)
* 1 year as a working student in Corporate Communications at an international specialty chemicals company (~8,000 employees)
* 3-month internship in internal consulting focused on production performance and change management at a major European steel manufacturer (~26,000 employees)
* Planned 3-month internship in management consulting before starting my master's
* Active member of the youth organization of a major German political party

Impressive profile. Great ECs, High GPAs and great display of leadership. Assuming your GMAT score is 675/ 685, that adds further to the strength of your candidature for top Grad Programs. You CAN PLAY your well balanced studies in both engineering and Social Sciences to display your academic mettle, but you would definitely NEED to bring out a COMPELLING story to show this did not come from confusion (and/or your taking up Social Studies as an escape).
Finally, your internships will also help you very well in bringing out a well-rounded profile that includes workign on the ground, as well as understanding the strategic factors behnd them.
Once again, you have SOUND ingredients for a great application, but School Admissions (and poetntial Scholarships) would depend HIGHLY on how integrated, and well aligned your story comes out.
With my numerous MiM clients, usually from a heavily over-represented profile, highlighting the right story has often made the critical difference. Feel free to browse the publicly left recommendations on my LinkedIn to go through details.
As for the choice of schools, I feel you are targeting too low, and maybe underselling your strong profile. The employment reports from Bocconi for example, do not inspire as much confidence.

Hello everyone, I am looking to apply to two universities, pursuing a MiM (CEMS).
The two universities I selected as my best choices are: SSE (Stockholm School of Economics) in the International Business x CEMS programme, and HSG (St. Gallen) in the SIM programme.

- Currently studying at the University of Bologna, Italy (constantly ranked among the top 3 universities in Italy), in the Business and Economics track (fully english)
- Selected as an incoming exchange at UC Berkeley, more specifically Berkeley Haas, for the Fall '26 Semester, merit-based scholarship included
- Current GPA (i just finished my second year): 29/30
Test scores
- IELTS 8.5 , looking to get my B2 certification in Spanish as well, Italian mother tongue
- GMAT: currently preparing for the GMAT (i'll give it for my first time in 5 days); although I expect a score 600ish due to a mix of personal problems lately
Extracurricular
- Bootstrapped from 0 a e-commerce resale business in a very niche market, all of this while I was still in highschool (and underage xD ). Last two year numbers (since I opened the VAT): 130k+ revenue , very good profitability, 1000+ worldwide customers
- Collaborated with 10+ startups through a student association (I created the Startup Relation desk), created and grew a newsletter from scratch to 400+ unique readers and 40k+ impressions (<6 months)
- Also, contributed to another association focused on financial education, producing content on investment strategies and alternative assets
- Not completed a formal internship yet, but I am actively exploring startup opportunities in San Francisco during my exchange. I have also received offers from seed-series startups in Europe
I would be grateful for any feedback or guidance on how my profile might be evaluated and how to strengthen my application. I know GMAT-wise it might suck.. Thank you in advance!

Hi,
Most other pillars of your profile seem strong. Both your GMAT & GPA (with UG college rank) are looked at to understand your academic callibre, and since you have provided neither, that is a dark area.
My clients with similar (or lesser) profiles have chosen to go to LBS/ ESADE/IESE & similar programs. So, it seems you would do well on these programs (provided of course, your GPA & GMAT etc check out)

The GPA mentioned is the average of the last 4 semesters - no conversions - my GPA is printed on my marks card on a 4 point scale each semester - I have simply averaged them
